The Popcorn Fix team can distribute these bags along with the kettle corn item. Choose from over 200 flavors of delicious gourmet popcorn packed in 2-cup sealed packs. You can add a custom label at no extra charge. There is no limit to the number of bags you may add-on.

Additional Information

Setup Requirements

We require drive-up access to our setup site. Our kettle uses propane and is setup outside of our trailer and under a 10'x10' tent. In general, our complete setup requires a 30'x15' area OR a 25'x20' area depending on the placement of our tent. We request a single standard electric outlet within 50 feet of our trailer to power work lighting at night. Our generator is loud and we prefer not to use it whenever possible.

 

Service Time

Our catering fee covers two hours of serving time. Larger groups may require more serving time which will be provided at no additional cost.

 

Extended Event Service Charge

If you require us to serve for more time than what we include, this additional time will be billed at $100 per hour. For example, if your event is for three hours but your group could be served in the included two hours of serving time, then there will be a service charge of $100.

 

Travel Time

Our normal operating area is within 25 miles of our Orlando store location. This travel time is included in all party packages. We will gladly travel to your event anywhere in Florida. Travel outside of our 25 mile radius is billed for both mileage and time. We use Google Maps to calculate both using the fastest toll-free route.

 

Mileage Service Charge

Travel outside of our normal operating area will be billed at $1.25 per mile. To calculate this service charge, take the total round trip mileage (as calculated above), subtract 50 (for the portion of travel within our operating area) and multiply by $1.25. For example, if your event location is calculated as a round trip of 100 miles, then there will be a service charge of $62.50.

 

Time Service Charge

Travel outside of our normal operating area will be billed at $50 per hour. To calculate this service charge, take the total round trip time (as calculated above), subtract one hour (for the portion of travel within our operating area) and multiply by $45. For example, if your event location is calculated as a round trip of two hours, then there will be a service charge of $50.

 

Deposit Requirement

A 50% deposit is required. This will reserve your selected day and time range. Please be certain of your event details as a portion of this deposit is nonrefundable.

 

Balance Due Requirement

Your full invoice balance is due when we arrive at and before we setup at your event.

 

Guest Overages

Some events are setup as "open bar" type events. While some items are prepared based on the invoiced guest count prior to the event, we are usually able to accommodate additional guests or return visitors with fresh popped kettle popcorn. With your prearranged approval only, this will be charged to a credit card immediately upon the conclusion of your event at the ordered cost per person.

 

Cancellation

Half of the deposit is refundable if you cancel at least 72 hours prior to the start time of your event. If you cancel within 72 hours of your event start time, your entire deposit will be forfeited as many preparations will have already been made. We will prepare to serve your guests in any weather conditions on the day and time range requested. We cannot guarantee to be able to accommodate rescheduling requests but may do so at our own discretion.

 

Failure of Service

If unexpected circumstances cause us to not be able to provide the requested services, Popcorn Fix and Kernel Encore of Orlando will only be responsible for refunding the unused portion of any deposit or balance already paid. In no way will we be liable for any other perceived loss by you or your guests by our unplanned absence. Severe weather may require a delay or rescheduling of service for the safety of your guests and the Popcorn Fix team.

 

License, Insurance and Permitting

We are licensed to operate by the Florida Department of Food Safety as a mobile concession stand. Our liability insurance covers our operations at these events. If a city or county permit is required for our presence at your event this arrangement and cost is your responsibility.

 

Florida State Sales Tax

Our catering prices are listed without sales tax. On your invoice Florida Sales Tax will be added based on your city/county tax rate. If your organization is tax exempt we must receive a valid tax exemption certificate prior to invoicing.
